pH7 Secures Up to $5M to Advance On-Site Copper Cathode Technology

pH7 Technologies has received up to $5 million from Natural Resources Canada to evaluate its new copper production process, using ore samples from Trekor Metals' Gibraltar Mine in BC. The technology converts low-grade sulfide ore directly into 99.9% pure copper cathodes on-site while producing green hydrogen as a by-product. If successful, the project could support future scale-up across Canada's mining sector.
