Pasqal and Aeponyx Launch PIC Packaging Center of Competency at C2MI

Exited Pangaea portfolio company Aeponyx, now a subsidiary of Pasqal, has helped launch a Center of Competency for photonic integrated circuit (PIC) packaging at C2MI in Bromont, Quebec. The initiative also brings together HOP Technologies and Phantom Photonics, backed by $4 million in federal and provincial funding out of a $7.9 million total project budget. The first phase will build low-volume manufacturing capacity, with a second phase targeting production of over 500,000 modules per year.
