Ardent’s Olefin Separation Technology to be Commercially Implemented by Braskem

We’re excited to share that Pangaea Ventures portfolio company Ardent has reached a major milestone with the commercial implementation of its Optiperm™ olefin-paraffin separation technology by Braskem, the largest polyolefins producer in the Americas. 

After a multi-year joint development program and over 10,000 hours of field testing, Braskem will now deploy Ardent’s breakthrough modular membrane solution at scale—marking a significant leap forward for energy efficiency and decarbonization in polyolefin production.

Ardent’s Optiperm™ platform offers a practical, bolt-on solution for recovering valuable olefins from purge gas without requiring costly splitter upgrades, helping to transform chemical manufacturing for a more sustainable future. 

This commercial rollout demonstrates the power of hard tech innovation to accelerate industrial decarbonization and drive real-world impact.
