Ardent Announces Planned CEO Transition

Ardent Process Technologies today announced a planned leadership transition: Christine Parrish will become Chief Executive Officer effective August 1, 2026, succeeding Erica Nemser, who has led the company since 2015.

Under Erica's leadership, Ardent grew from an R&D lab into a profitable, market-driven hard tech separations company, signing more than 20 customers across pharma, oil & gas, chemicals, and data centers, and raising over $35M in funding. Erica will step into the role of Executive Chair, continuing to shape long-term strategy, support key customer and partner relationships, mentor the leadership team, and lead the Board of Directors. As part of the transition, Nic Renard will assume the role of Chief Commercial Officer, also effective August 1, 2026.

Christine brings more than 8 years at Ardent to the role, having held leadership positions spanning technical and commercial functions, most recently originating the position of VP of Technology Solutions. She steps into the CEO seat with a clear mandate: advancing the company's "molecules of value" strategy, including decarbonizing power for data centers, while deepening operational execution and building on the foundation Erica established.

"Erica has made a lasting contribution to Ardent, helping shape the company's strategy, culture, and long-term position," said board member and Pangaea Ventures Partner Chris Erickson. "Christine, supported by Nic and the leadership team, are the right leaders for the company's next chapter. This planned transition reflects the depth of the leadership team, the Board's confidence in the succession process, and our belief in the company's future."

With a validated platform, an exceptional leadership bench, and a clear strategy for the road ahead, we couldn't be more excited to see Ardent enter this next chapter and look forward to their continued growth.
