Nanox

Nano-Perovskite Auto-Catalyst

Nanox uses a proprietary mechanochemical synthesis technology to produce a low cost/high surface area catalyst that provides significant performance advantages for emission reduction. Nanox's first product is a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) for Heavy Duty Diesel (HDD) engines, which will help manufacturers meet increasingly stringent emission regulation while reducing their material cost.

Based in Quebec City, Canada, Nanox is at the forefront of the development and production of nanopowders. Nanox's mechanochemical synthesis process allows them to produce a highly efficient catalyst with very small amounts of expensive precious metals such as Platinum, Palladium and Rhodium. Furthermore, due to its high surface area and increased catalytic activity Nanox's catalyst starts to operate at lower temperatures therefore reducing start-up emissions.

Following the commercialization of its DOC for HDD engines, Nanox is planning to use its versatile process to produce a catalyst for Light Duty Diesel (LDD) engines as well as a three-way catalytic converter for gasoline engines to allow manufacturers around the world to meet future emission standards without increasing the cost to the end users.
