Kovio is developing and manufacturing low cost electronic and solar products using high performance printable silicon inks. Kovio's process has been termed Green Silicon™ because it uses 4X less power, 20X fewer chemicals and 20,000X less hazardous gases than conventional silicon. Kovio's breakthrough material and printed system solutions facilitate the production of low cost electronic solutions such as RFID. The technology allow for the introduction of intelligence into everyday products resulting in improvements to supply chain efficiency, security and brand protection.
