Jim Mugford is the President and CEO of Turbocare Canada Limited, a subsidiary of Siemens Power Generation as well as Vice President Oil & Gas, Energy Sector Siemens Canada Ltd. Turbocare Canada was formed out of Kadon Electromechanical, a company Jim sold to Siemens in 2006. Turbocare is a leading provider of industrial maintenance solutions to the oil and gas, forestry and other large industrial sectors. Jim is responsible for strategy development, implementation, and day-to-day management of Turbocare's engineering consulting and power generation equipment maintenance businesses. Prior to Kadon, Jim held positions with KPMG and Computer Associates in the areas of management consulting, systems implementation, and product management. While employed with Computer Associates Jim traveled extensively speaking at business and information technology conferences in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
Mr. Mugford has served as an executive member of the Canadian Machinery Vibration Association (CMVA) and is an active member of CMVA, the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) and the Canadian Gas Processors Suppliers Association (CGPSA). He has written papers and spoken at CVMA & STLE meetings, as well as the International Pipeline Conference, the International Maintenance Conference and Symposium, and the Canadian Pulp & Paper Association.
